The Research Administration Training Seminar is geared toward research administrators and staff involved in research administration, and anyone who wants to learn more about Northwestern’s research administration process, policies, procedures, and offices. Representatives from 20 offices will be presenting on topics such as pre- and post-award administration, research accounting, effort reporting, compliance, research development, working with industry, human and animal subjects research, research safety, core facilities, the Research Portal, and more.
This is a great educational opportunity for staff new to research, or experienced staff who would like a refresher in certain areas. It’s also an excellent chance to network with others in Northwestern’s research community.
- The seminar consists of a series of four sessions. You are encouraged to attend all four sessions. If you can only attend certain sessions, or you would like to attend a specific portion of the training, you are welcome to do so.
- There is no cost for the training. Registration is required, via myHR Learn.
